MJF (Multi Jet Fusion)

Overview

Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) is an advanced additive manufacturing technology developed by HP.
It uses a fine powder material, typically nylon, which is selectively fused layer by layer using a fusing and detailing agent.
This process produces strong, highly detailed, and functional parts with excellent mechanical properties.

Advantages

  1. High Strength & Durability – Ideal for end-use parts and functional prototypes.
  2. Fast Production Times – Significantly reduces lead times compared to traditional methods.
  3. Excellent Surface Quality – Requires minimal post-processing.
  4. Cost-Effective for Mid to High Volumes – Suitable for production runs without expensive tooling.
  5. Isotropic Mechanical Properties – Ensures uniform strength across all axes.

Ideal Applications

  • Industrial components and casings
  • Functional prototypes
  • Custom fixtures and jigs
  • High-wear mechanical parts
  • Consumer electronics enclosures
